I've been a few times and each visit is as stunning as the last. The beaches are beautiful, and the local cuisine is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying Okinawa soba if you get the chance. Anyone else has favorite spots or dishes from Okinawa?

Absolutely agree with you, Naomi! Okinawa's beaches are a sight to behold. And yes, Okinawa soba is a must-try! It's a warm, comforting dish that perfectly represents Okinawa's culinary culture. I also recommend trying the local Okinawan sake, Awamori. It's unique to the region and goes well with the local cuisine. Okinawa is truly a gem of a place.

I couldn't agree more with all of you! Okinawa is truly a paradise on earth. The turquoise blue waters of the beaches are unparalleled. And the food! Okinawa soba is a personal favorite, but the Goya Champuru, a bitter melon stir-fry, is another Okinawan specialty that is absolutely worth trying. As for Awamori, it indeed complements the local dishes perfectly. I love how Okinawa has its unique culture and traditions that are so different from the rest of Japan. It's always a joy to share about Okinawa with all of you in this room.
