Flazle is a small, friendly place to make new friends or find someone special — without putting your real face on the internet on day one. We use AI to turn your photo into a beautiful anime avatar, so people get to know you first, not just your selfie.
This guide walks you through your first 60 seconds.
Step 1: Create your account
Sign up with an email and password. We pre-fill a few things for you (a fun display name, your country from your IP) so you can start chatting in under a minute. You can change anything later from your profile.
You don't have to confirm your email to start using Flazle — though we recommend it so you can recover your password if you ever forget it.
Step 2: Upload a photo
Head to Profile → Photos and upload any clear photo of your face — selfie, headshot, casual, doesn't matter.
Two important things to know:
- ๐ Your real photo is never shown publicly. It's stored encrypted in our cloud and only you can see it.
- โจ Our AI turns it into an anime avatar — that's what other members see on your profile and in Discover.
If you upload more than one photo, the first one becomes your primary avatar. You can re-order them anytime.
Step 3: Set who you'd like to meet
In Edit Profile, set your gender and who you're interested in. This is just for matching — we don't show it on your public profile. You can also add a short bio so people have something to message you about.
A good bio is two or three sentences about what you actually like. "Coffee, hiking, slow Sundays" works better than "I'm fun and outgoing."
Step 4: Start matching in Discover
The Discover tab shows you people you might like. Tap โค๏ธ on someone you'd like to meet, or โ to pass.
Mutual matching only. A conversation only opens when both of you tap โค๏ธ on each other — so your inbox never fills with strangers, and the people you talk to are the ones who already wanted to meet you too.
You get 10 likes per day on the free plan. If you hit the limit, you can either wait until tomorrow or upgrade to 100 likes/day for $5.99/month.
Step 5: Chat (and reveal at your own pace)
When two people match, you can chat in real time — text, photos, and short videos. Read receipts and typing indicators are on, so it feels like the messengers you already use.
You decide when (and whether) to share your real photos. Most people chat for a few days first. There's no countdown, no pressure.
A few good habits
- Take your time. No rush to share your name, phone number, or socials. Chat as long as you need to feel comfortable.
- Watch for money requests — always a red flag. Real matches don't ask for money, gift cards, crypto, or "investments." Block and report immediately.
- Meeting in person? Pick a public place, arrange your own transport, and tell a friend where you'll be.
- Trust your gut. If something feels off, you don't owe anyone an explanation.
